Question #3 deserves a big NO vote

Are you sick of the MDOT and the Turnpike Authority wasting our tax dollars?

Question 3:
Do you favor a $105,000,000 bond issue for construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of highways and bridges and for facilities or equipment related to ports, harbors, marine transportation, freight and passenger railroads, aviation, transit and bicycle and pedestrian trails, to be used to match an estimated $137,000,000 in federal and other funds, and for the upgrade of municipal culverts at stream crossings?

It's time to send the wasteful spenders a loud and clear message, IMO,
vote NO on question #3 next week.

What other 110 mile road in

What other 110 mile road in Maine has a huge staff? Take down the toll booths. Let us drive as we do in the good half of I-95. Vote No on 3.

I saw one of these DOT signs

I saw one of these DOT signs awhile back and thought the same thing... What a waste of money. DOT stole my property and it cost me $250,000.

Maine is great. The politics sucks. And don't get caught up in the D's vs. the R's. They're best buds. Without each other, they have nobody to point the finger at.

We need a new 3rd party to oust them all.

The swamp drainer party.

A dip in the road, a sharp

A dip in the road, a sharp turn, a rough section of pavement; they all could be fixed by your local sand and gravel contractor. But NO! The State has to fix it and extend the project for a half mile down the road so it becomes a million dollar project.

That may be true or not, but

That may be true or not, but the question is a request to vote No,based on a erroneous statement.

I would agree with you Calvin as long as this is attached he local people do not recieve any state funds for the town share of a state route maintenance .

One example is all of money

One example is all of money they've wasted on the various toll booth projects around the state... which will be outdated within five (5) years and will likely need to be replaced yet again.
