BANGOR — ...snip

Walter Cruz Sanchez-Amira, 24, was charged with unlawful presence in the United States after having been previously removed from the country. Authorities found him while executing a search warrant at the Twin Super Buffet in Brewer and an associated residence this week.

My family and I have been

My family and I have been longtime fans of Twin Super Buffet in Brewer and have eaten there many dozens of times. I even took my dad there several times back several years ago, and we all loved the food, and the atmosphere. We certainly noticed that most everyone who worked there was "oriental", but have not found that unusual in a Chinese restaraunt.

We certainly are not in favor of illegal immigration, employment of illegals, and forcing people into slave labor. However, we think it might be prudent to see what comes of the charges first. We have learned to be very skeptical of "charges" made by "government" as they usually use as many words as they can to stir up public sentiment.

Lets not forget that this same "government" charged Randy Weaver with 13 counts of murder and conspiracy to commit murder.........and could prove NONE of them in front of a jury. These same outfits "raided" Berg Enterprises, down the road from me a few miles, last winter, lugged off file cabinets of records and made a huge show out of it. Results so far? Nothing that I have seen come from it.

Lets not forget how these agencies like to blow their own horns, every chance they get.

I used to help my dad in his part time surveying business, years ago. Many deeds to properties were written as sold for $1 and other valuable considerations. I have read dozens of them. If a person wanted to sell a property for $1, particularly if they were transferring it to a child or other family member, this would not be that unusual. It used to be that what people sold their property for was nobody elses business. But the states have come to see real estate transfers as just another way to raise taxes, so now this info becomes "public" to the extent that people honestly report it. If you have a mortgage, it is almost impossible to hide the amount as the state takes a "real estate transfer tax" off the top, just because they can. You can easily see that people who do NOT need a mortgage, and not everyone does, can sometimes be less than forthright about the true value of the transaction.

People use to do this with used cars sold privately all the time, inorder to pay less sales tax when they go to register it. The state now makes the town clerks use an average value from a book,, for the tax amounts, in order to defeat this practice. But they have not perfected it in the real estate business yet.

This is a picture of "Zi Qian Zhang" as obtained in a google search for that name. Incidentally, though I do not know Chinese language very well, this name, or variations of it, seem very common.

Both my wife and I have looked at this picture, and though many orientals look much the same to us, this does appear to be the man we have seen behind the counter, and have talked to on numerous occasions, at Twin super Buffet in Brewer. The man we talked to was very personable and was an amateur magician, often showing off card tricks and other types of magic.

Some of the charges involve "money laundering". We wonder what kind of "laundering" they are talking about. I had a good friend who worked in the wholesale seafood business in Maine for years and the Mafia is heavily vested in wholesale seafood as so much of it is cash business and this is uesd to clean up money from other "illegal operations". One has to wonder are they authorities here referring to other kinds of illegal operations, or just skimming cash out of these places.

From one of the above stories:

......"The Cumberland County Jail confirmed Wednesday night that federal agents brought in four “immigrants," but the names, addresses and charges filed against the four individuals were not available".......

Does it bother anyone besides me that peole can be "arrested" in Maine and the authorities will keep all this information secret from the public?

I am certainly interested in seeing where all this goes, and if guilty of the charges, the perps surely need to be punished. But I have learned to be patient and wait for the "facts" to appear, and not be quick to judge on what is alleged by government.

WC - all good points, and I

WC - all good points, and I agree the courts have not yet spoken.

OTOH, when there are numerous complaints lodged by illegal workers who say they were unpaid (some seriously underaged), and photos of crowded, dilapidated "dormitories" filled with mold, broken windows, and buckets to catch the leaks (for which lodging the workers say they were charged up to $1K per month each), one starts to get a "hint" about the likely truth.

According to the PPH article linked below, the Waterville property is owned by Zhang, and was used to house workers at his restaurants. Some workers claim they paid to live at the residence.

Ah! The great experiment of

Ah! The great experiment of our bi-partisan elites to "elect a new people" started by the 1965 Kennedy Immigration Act and facilitated by the 1986 Reagan Amnesty and the non- enforcement against the millions of illegal invaders by George Bush II and Obama continues apace even in Maine.

Why are we worried about the Afghan borders? We cannot or will not control our own. Will Maine be a better (more"diverse") place if it looks more like sub- Sahara Africa? I don't think it's helped Lewiston ME or Columbus OH.

Yet GOP leadership in DC seems ready to throw in the towel and commit cultural and political suicide by caving on Amnesty and bringing in more welfare dependent future Democrat voters because of one election. The grass roots American people don't want this even if La Raza ("the Race") and the cheap labor lobby does.

"[the girlfriend[[illegal

"[the girlfriend[[illegal alien]] got in a taxi in the United States and took off".

So a person who committed a crime by being in our country illegally helped another person commit another crime by illegally invading our country has essentially had nothing done to him. Great system of Justice in Maine and the nation. In Mexico, where being an illegal immigrant is a felony, this would have been handled very differently. This case is just the latest example of how our bi-partisan "elites" are betraying the American people that they supposedly represent but don't.

The "Elect a New People" Democrats who want more dependent voters to win elections, and the Republican "Cheap Labor" lobby, led by such GOP donor money-bags like Sheldon Adelson, the Las Vegas gambling mogul who makes great profits using cheap (and often illegal) Mexican and Asian immigrants to staff his casinos, continue to transform the demographics of the country for power politics and obscene profits, all at the expense of the American people.

When are the native American people, who are systematically being dispossessed of their own country, going to find the political and cultural leadership in Maine and at the national level to resist, halt, and reverse these destructive policies and represent their interests? Certainly not from Barak Obama's party, or from the likes of such GOP soft-shelled political specimens as Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, or Speaker John ("cry baby") Boehner, or from the GOP's corporate cheap labor lobbyists. Many of our politicized money grubbing non-profits like Catholic Charities, who have brought thousands of Muslim Somaliis and other Africans to Maine who cannot support themselves without continuous injections of government tax money, are also in on this profitable [for them], but rolling disaster.

It's a disgusting spectacle bordering on treason, but all we hear are whelps about how we're a "nation of immigrants" from the usual ignorant suspects. No we're not. That is, not until the 1965 Cellar-Hart-Kennedy Immigration Act. Before then we were mostly a nation of European colonists, with a few minor exceptions (1880-1920, post Civil War) who transplanted European culture and institutions to North America. We've gone from an advanced European culture and prosperous society to a bankrupt Multi-Culti Tower of Babel. This issue in Maine should be on the top of Rich Cebra's "to do" list. I hope he can keep the "open borders" Ron Paul crowd at bay and help put an end to the Sanctuary State destruction.

See, if hospitals can do it,

See, if hospitals can do it, why not the government whose job it is in the first place.

Can you imagine how much they'd be sucking off the system if they stayed?

Do you support sanctuary

Do you support sanctuary cities in Maine?
Do you think our tax dollars should keep going to sanctuary cities in Maine?

If not, then you might want to climb aboard and support:
LD 366, An Act to Ensure Compliance with Federal Immigration Law by State and Local Government Entities.
FMI: https://www.mainelegislature.org/legis/bills/display_ps.asp?LD=366&snum=128

Passing LD 366 will protect Maine people from violent aliens who have settled in Maine over the past decade. In addition, any municipality that harbors illegals will lose all state funding.

THE PUBLIC HEARING HAS BEEN SCHEDULED - Thursday, April 20th, at 1pm.
Statehouse building in Augusta, Room 438, with the Judiciary Committee.

NOTE: If you wish to testify on behalf of LD 366, bring 20 copies of your testimony and arriving early. If you're unable to attend, it's possible to email your testimony to the Committee Clerk at susan.pinette@legislature.maine.gov for their review and consideration.

ISIS in Maine

This would have applied to the ISIS terrorist with five wives who lived on Bartlett Street in Lewiston. He commuted from the Jetport in Portland to Minneapolis, Turkey, Somalia and back every three months to deliver OUR hard earned money to the head of the Islamic Court in Somalia which is ISIS.

He died fighting for ISIS in Syria. We still support the wives and all the kids in Maine.

Regardless of the probable ethnic origin of his ancestors, Swedish, Italian or Hispanic, administer a sobriety test. Check license, registration and insurance. If OUI is detected, take the offender to the holding cell for that jurisdiction. Compare said documents with wants and warrants, record etc. What is flight risk? Will this offender reliably show up for trial? If he blows a 0.22 on the breathalyzer and he is wanted by the feds for heroin distribution, turn him over to ICE.

This is not discrimination. It is justice.
