Guns did not change... people did.

The cause of violent actions isn't in the inanimate objects utilized, it's in the person committing those acts. This is why gun bans don't eliminate the violence, but simply direct the violent into other means...

Are Facebook and violent video games to blame? Computers and the Internet in general? Our latch-key manner of raising kids?

There's been a fifty year long social experiment going on, using kids as lab rats.

It isn't going well.

1950's, there were "gun clubs" in our schools.
Today our schools are trying to teach an anti-gun message.

Geez

Geez

I can't wait to give more control of my life over to the state and federal government, they have done such a good job, what with government debt, 21 trillion for the feds and their non-stop wars against everything that moves. War on drugs, poverty, terror.

Why there is only one war that they haven't proposed and it is apparently the only war that really needs to be fought. The war against government.

And another similar view.

It's good to know it wasn't just where and when I grew up, things were similar in most of the country.
