From my past dealings with

From my past dealings with Gov. Kings' budget cuts we learned one thing about him.
He did not like opposition to his plan and any questioning of his plan. Our work was doomed because he got the legislature to give it all to him
and they stayed out of the issue.

Hopefully , Brakey can do what is necessary, get nasty and challenge him on everything.

King may have cut your budget

King may have cut your budget, Bruce, but he escalated total state spending by a bunch.

Although I doubt to many

Although I doubt to many folks are surprised by this idiotic comment by Senator Angus foot-in-mouth King, it should serve as a reminder for why he needs to be replaced by Eric Brakey. It was great to hear this discussed on the Howie Carr show yesterday, although it probably won't get much additional local media attention...
hence the need for us to need to spread-the-word:

It is well known that Mainers

It is well known that Mainers like their incumbents as do all Americans. The devil they know, but Hilliary was an incumbent and lost. Of course the "steady" state and the corporate media has had a full court press on Trump even before he got elected,

Even pot smoking "hippies" apparently now side with the NSA CIA FBI as long as these dark organizations bring down Trump..

Good ole Angus not one to walk away from a steady pay check. I'd put the old angus in there, you can bet he is just loving the "sugar" that the steady state has graced him with. You can say the same about the rest of our congress critters. Only question is whether how long will it take a freshmen congressman to taste the evil fruit of DC.

At this point in the rot that has taken DC, just getting rid of a old politician like King and changing him for a novice will be a welcome bit.

What a puke. Hours after the

What a puke. Hours after the tragedy, in 2001, he even bragged in an interview that a building he owned was now the tallest in Manhattan, after the towers came down.

Oh, wait—wrong politician.

Cue the outrage!

Theres no lack of motive

Theres no lack of motive analysis and imputation in the deranged crowd. Anyone else notice this? Always with the assignments of motive in everything the guy says.

Of course always performed with the most careful objectivity dont you know.

Nah. Only when he stops

Nah. Only when he stops moving the world in more of a direction of individual liberty and small govt than 40 years of think tank white papers and Libertarian Party fails and endless RINO fakeouts

Fact is, the only reason i need to support Trump is that you hate him. But i can actually find positive reasons to boot!

Mark: Do budget deficits

Mark: Do budget deficits matter anymore - with anyone? It seems like nowadays, being a Trump ‘conservative’ is all about GDP growth and a “booming” economy, and less about reigning in government spending. Liberals don’t care about deficits, that’s not a concern to them. Conservatives only care about deficits when they’re campaigning. Isn’t that just a bit hypocritical? Or is it just a matter of waiting for a re-birth of trickle down economics to kick in? “RINO fakeout” indeed...

Northarrow this point you

Northarrow this point you make is a good one

I understand now that since we established the Federal Reserve, and especially since Nixon took us off the Gold Standard, our economy is a debt based economy. We must borrow and create fiat currency in ever greater amounts to continue to function.

Until it doesnt any longer that is.

My only thoughts are as

My only thoughts are as follows.

1) A booming economy ends up generating more revenue.

2) Any attempt to wipe out the deficit in one swell foop would have the takers coming out by the millions, all in black masks and swinging clubs. And the patrons of the takers would be committing hari-kari on TV.

Please!

That's rich !!!
LMFAO!

Northarrow taking Rs to task for deficit spending after 8 years of Obama's spending spree with absolutely nothing to show for it.
At least, with the Trump tax cuts, the middle class gets a bit of their own money back with a roaring economy to boot, plus, the reassurance that our armed forces are being supported at a sustainable level.

Mark makes a good point and

Mark makes a good point and one that is repeated by non-corporate mouth pieces. CNBC will never admit that increasing the debt is a necessary function of the "Ponzi" scheme we live in.

The fact is look at the past few years and see another hockey stick increase in national debt,

So far, recent history, it is 8 years double the national debt of the previous administration I have little doubt that the Trump admin will do the same
