A nation built on lies

Peterson’s reality-based assessment of our broken societal system has infuriated the social justice warriors and media propagandists whose narratives are based upon lies, misinformation, fake news, and a pliable dumbed down populace distracted by their techno-gadgets. The machinations of the Deep State (Wall Street cabal, Fed, captured politicians, shadowy billionaires, military industrial complex, surveillance agencies, corporate media) are dependent upon the masses believing their big lies and unquestioningly trusting their provably false narratives.

Could you post part 1.

Dr. Syd. suggested reading it prior to making any decisions.

Mike G, Dr. Peterson wrote 12

Mike G, Dr. Peterson wrote 12 Rules For Life to help individuals looking to escape nihilism and despair and find meaning in their own lives. Yes, one of the rules is Tell the truth, or at least don't lie. It's Rule 8.

If your life is not what it could be, try telling the truth.

Truth will not come in the guise of opinions shared by others, as the truth is neither a collection of slogans nor an ideology. It will instead be personal... Communicate it carefully, in an articulate manner, to yourself and others. This will ensure your security and your life more abundantly now... [and] ensure the benevolence of the future.

To me, it's significant that Dr. Peterson presents Rules 6 and 7 before that. Rule 6: Set your house in perfect order before you criticize the world. Again, he's speaking to the individual.

Don't blame capitalism, the radical left, or the iniquity of your enemies. Don't reorganize the state until you have ordered your own experience. Have some humility. If you cannot bring peace to your household, how dare you try to rule the city?
let your own soul guide you... when you know you have left something undone, you will act to correct the omission... You will then begin to discover new, more subtle things that you are doing wrong. Stop doing those, too. After some months and years of diligent effort, your life will become simpler... You will stop making your life unnecessarily difficult... You will then be left with the inevitable bare tragedies of life, but they will no longer be compounded with bitterness and deceit.

That brings us to Rule 7: Pursue what is meaningful (not what is expedient)

Life is suffering. That's clear....what in the world should be done about that?

The expedient thing is to pursue pleasure and immediate gratification or forgetfulness, or even just go-along-to-get-along. The meaningful thing is this:
If you decide you are not justified in your resentment of Being, despite its inequity and pain, you may notice things you could fix to reduce even by a bit some unnecessary pain and suffering. You may come to ask yourself, "What should I do today?" in a manner that means, "How could I use my time to make things better, instead of worse?"
And start small, in your own little part of the world:
Clear up your paperwork. Pay the bills.
Or tidy up a room, hang a few pictures.
Make a nutritious and tasty meal for your family.
Etc.

And in the process of all this, mind Rule 8, Tell the truth, or at least don't lie.
