Very narrow decieson,but the

Very narrow decieson, but the world will continue to revolve.
Still believe this entire thing could have been avoided by just saying,"I will pray for you".

I pray for lots of people.

I pray for lots of people. Don't know if it does any good, but the result is not up to me.

The vile hate that came from the left on this is incredible. From the decision:

the Commission’s treatment of Phillips’ case, which showed elements of a clear and impermissible hostility toward the sincere religious beliefs motivating his objection. As the record shows, some of the commissioners at the Commission’s formal, public hearings endorsed the view that religious beliefs cannot legitimately be carried into the public sphere or commercial domain, disparaged Phillips’ faith as despicable and characterized it as merely rhetorical, and compared his invocation of his sincerely held religious beliefs to defenses of slavery and the Holocaust. No commissioners objected to the comments. Nor were they mentioned in the later state-court ruling or disavowed in the briefs filed here.

The fellow has received death threats, hate so vile that and his family fears for their lives.

So much for "it's about love."

I think he's still in

I think he's still in business, although his business is way down, and he's forced to protect himself and his family from raving leftie threats of violence.

Uh no TomC - as much as you

Uh no TomC - as much as you got a little woody about the headline, the SCOTUS actually found that a State agency was not fair to the baker in it's hearing. Discrimination statutes in Maine and across the nation are still the law of the land. No business in Maine that openly serves the public can refuse service to a person because they are gay.

One element of this fiascos

One element of this fiascos is they were already "married" when they ordered the cake.
Actually IMO the case would have clearer argument fro discrimination if it had not included the religious part of it.

The best commentary of the day was the gay.women radio host talking to Rush on his show. She argued against activists involved in these events.
Still the best answer would have been ,"I will pray for you". Good bet that is what Jesus would have done.

It amazes me that tolerance

It amazes me that tolerance is now defined as "you will do what I want or else".

Humans, it seems, can never find the middle ground. It always has to go all the way to the opposite extreme.

I could go into a leftie

I could go into a leftie bakery and ask them if they'd bake me a Make America Great Again cake. I suspect they'd either (1) Treat me like the guy who wore a MAGA hat the the Cheesecake Factory, or (2) make me a cake I wouldn't dare eat.
