Bill has bitten the dust at FOX.....one would think that the man would have been just a tad smarter. Personally I stopped watching The Factor on a regular basis some time ago,for the same reasons I stopped watching Beck ,they just got so full of themselves. I will however miss Dennis Miller and O'Reilly's word of the day.....

Bill O'Reilly
joh
There is absolutely no understanding this behavior be at any level of any profession / employee group / life situation !
He will not be missed by me .
johnw.....maybe have a look at Bill Whittle.....?
http://www.truthrevolt.org/videos/bill-whittles-firewall-hillary-guilty
Bill Whittle is back with another Firewall video commentary. It takes Bill only 93 seconds to show Hillary Clinton guilty of violating three separate Federal Statutes. It takes him another three minutes to explain why she and Obama simply DO NOT CARE.
Watch above and please share far and wide.
Transcript below:
Let’s start by getting one thing out of the way right at the top: there is no question that Hillary Clinton committed multiple violations of federal law.
U.S. Code, Title 18, Part I, Chapter 101, Section 2071, Paragraph a:
[ TITLE: COMPLETE TEXT OF A ]
says that anyone who removes -- and doesn’t return -- ANY Federal records regardless of classification has committed a felony.
GOWDY: Secretary Clinton said that all work-related emails were returned to the State Department. Was that true?
COMEY: No, we found work-related emails – thousands – that were not returned.
[TITLE: COMPLETE TEXT OF B ]
Paragraph B says that anyone who attempts to conceal or destroy these records has committed a second felony, which specifically bars the offender from holding any office in the United States government.
GOWDY: Secretary Clinton said that neither she nor anyone else deleted work-related emails from her personal account. Was that true?
COMEY: There’s no doubt that there were work-related emails that were removed electronically from the email system.
And finally let’s talk about 18 U.S. Code § 793: Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information
In order to clear the legal bar for prosecution on that statute – that part of the United States code -- the prosecution would have to prove “gross negligence” on the part of Mrs. Clinton.
GIULIANI: He said during his long statement that she was “extremely careless.” The first definition of “gross negligence” that comes up when you take out the legal dictionary is being “extremely careless.”
Any questions?
FBI Director Comey, acting for reasons unknown and which do not make the slightest difference to this case, laid out point by point the evidence of criminal violations, as well as exposing Crooked Hillary’s initial public statement as contempt for the American People so grand that it would have to be sifted through a very fine filter to find a single particle that was actually true.
What David Horowitz called “the most breathtaking fix in American history” was so flagrant, so audacious, so shamefully and obviously crooked, and reeked of such bottomless contempt, that I take exception to the idea, frequently stated, that they must take us for idiots.
They don’t take us for idiots. They take us for cowards. They know that we know, and they don’t care.
Why don’t they care? Well, they don’t care because we didn’t do anything about changing implementation dates on Obamacare on a whim; we didn’t do anything about the illegal, unconstitutional, dictatorial Executive Orders on something as important as Immigration; we didn’t do anything when Crooked Hillary cut back security in Benghazi while Ambassador Chris Stevens was begging for more security; and we didn’t do anything when the President and the Secretary of State -- who knew within fifteen minutes that the attack was well-planned, well-coordinated and clearly foreseen and forseeable – when those two people stood there, in front of television cameras and claimed – repeatedly – that the disaster was the result of an obscure YouTube video and told the relatives of the heroes that died because of her contempt that she and the President were going to get the filmmaker responsible for their son’s death.
Of course the fix is in. Of course we see through it. They don’t care. They’ve got us pegged.
Oh, and one more little itty bitty thing: surely some of those Top Secret, and above Top Secret, emails went to and from the President. Fortunately for the Commander in Chief, and the presumptive future Commander in Chief, laws don’t apply to top Democrats. Laws are for the little people, the great unwashed army of rubes and hicks in flyover country. You know: you and me.
President Obama will not protect the American people. President Hillary Clinton will not protect the American people. The Justice Department will not protect the American people, the politically appointed generals in the Pentagon won’t protect us, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation won’t do it either.
The only thing left to protect the American People is the American People. Our future and our freedom will end, one way or another, where it started, with WE THE PEOPLE. WE THE PEOPLE will have to defend ourselves from this government, this rough beast, its hour come at last, that we have allowed to go slouching towards Washington to be born.
It’s just us now. Just us, alone.
My apologies JohnW, I don't watch TV so O'Reilly's absence won't trouble me. I wondered if he was going to throw his hat in the ring for Anthony Wiener's congressional seat. Are they cut from similar cloth?
Will New York succumb to sharia law someday, as is being pushed around in various states and Canada, so that women in the workplace would have to wear full burkas, relieving poor guys like Bill from the tensions associated with western permissiveness concerning women's attire?
My interest in this thread, not desiring to change the theme, was sparked by Spider's post.
I would offer that the cesspool, swamp, garbage dump, we have become pawns to cannot be changed by a crowd. At very least a mob, but not a crowd. The difference being a mob has a leader. This nation has lacked leadership in archaic principles such as morals, ethics, service, trust, and no doubt more attributes that make a person solid and sound. Egos and ambition become stumbling blocks to unity and ultimately freedom.
My solution, which I don't expect any comrades here to embrace, is the same platform that launched this nation over two hundred years ago. Good seeds planted produce good yields.
It is strange to today’s generation to think that the rights listed in the Declaration of Independence were nothing more than a listing of sermon topics that had been preached from the pulpit in the two decades leading up to the American Revolution, but such was the case.

They should have given him the boot after the loofa thing, I mean, what is he - a Democrat or something?
One really has to wonder if all that money , fame and influence doesn't cause brain damage......A man has to be living under a rock if he thinks that he can harass women with impunity.......
Bill who?
O'Reilly
Used to work for Fox News. Ever here of them?
What was that liberal Radio channel ?
One really has to wonder if all that money , fame and influence doesn't cause brain damage......A man has to be living under a rock if he thinks that he can harass women with impunity.......
johnw, perhaps he's planning to run for President. It worked for "grab em by the pussy" Trump! :-)
As far as I know BIlly Bush did not file a complaint about that.
Besides there is a difference between boorish behavior and behavior that is illegal !
But do not let that prevent you from taking shot !
Oh he won and is the president ., she lost.
"What was that liberal Radio channel ?"
It was a tiny unrated TV channel that AlGore sold to Al Jazira for a huge sum of money. He needs a huge amount of money to heat that huge estate he lives in down in Tennessee.
David......my statement was meant to cover a broader swath of the rich ,famous and influential..Look how many of them who've had the world by the ass in a downhill pull ,screwed it up....politicians ,atheletes,actors,businessmen.......no one is immune ...There's an old saying "a stiff dick has no conscience ." That applies to all sides of the political spectrum......but in O'Reilly's case it's particularly poignant because he's such a self righteousness sob....
No one was more proud of his humility than Billy O.
That gets one.
Drum Roll and Rimshot!
O'Reilly
Used to work for Fox News. Ever here of them?
Schwiiiiiing !
True, he has had some harsh and stupid words but, compared to the serial rapist/sexual harasser, cigar moistener, blue dress spot making, perjurer who actually did these things, Trump is as innocent as a choir boy (before the lad runs into Father Pat McGroyn)
Rush had an interesting perspective on this whole episode.
“Let me ask you a question. Have you ever wondered why not a single left-wing media figure is ever the target of advertiser boycotts?
http://www.westernjournalism.com/limbaugh-advertisers-never-target-left-...
Bill's claims that he did nothing wrong and only paid them off to avoid the shit show.....really is lame..... There is a criteria for actions to reach the level of sexual harassment ., it not just a few off the cuff remarks....... Worst of all he has given the left more ammunition..... if he is innocent he would have had broad support should he have decided to fight the charges.
Advertisers? The left owns the airwaves .......
As lame as it is ,it is the problem, they do not think they did anything wrong.
The entire harassment issue has evolved into something that is next to impossible to fight
an accusation much less win. It has evolved into the old stereotype like an accusation of rape.
You can be proven innocent but ruined. While most cases involve women as victims there are cases of males also being victims.
Yes, a business like Fox ,as others will settle mostly at behest of their insurers. But in the end before that settlement is agreed to
there is significant evidence to back up accusation . Usually much worse then made public .
The only way to avoid these accusations is not to be so stupid and do not conduct yourself in that manner.
Clearly it's a culture issue, beginning with Ailes. Once guys begin to think they can act unprofessionally, it'll start happening throughout the organization (for another obvious example, see Uber).
O'Reilly's probably a decent guy but is not the kind of person to stand up and be a paragon of virtue when everyone else around him is a douchebag, he's going to join them.
Sexual Harassment
It is unlawful to harass a person (an applicant or employee) because of that person’s sex. Harassment can include “sexual harassment” or unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature.
Harassment does not have to be of a sexual nature, however, and can include offensive remarks about a person’s sex. For example, it is illegal to harass a woman by making offensive comments about women in general.
Both victim and the harasser can be either a woman or a man, and the victim and harasser can be the same sex.
Although the law doesn’t prohibit simple teasing, offhand comments, or isolated incidents that are not very serious, harassment is illegal when it is so frequent or severe that it creates a hostile or offensive work environment or when it results in an adverse employment decision (such as the victim being fired or demoted).
The harasser can be the victim's supervisor, a supervisor in another area, a co-worker, or someone who is not an employee of the employer, such as a client or customer.
One thing they leave out that is part of most training is whether the behavior is welcomes or invited....It is NOT considered sexual harassment.
Hannity has been accused ,he came out with both barrels blasting.says he has hired the best legal counsel and is going for his accuser's throats......She is already back pedaling......The best defense is a strong offense....
"Bill's claims that he did nothing wrong and only paid them off to avoid the shit show"
This is the Jesse Jackson method of fundraising, just like the environmental industry. Jesse goes to a company and if they will not donate to the Rainbow Coalition, he threatens to label the company as racist and discriminatory. He will campaign against their customers and advertisers. The company caves. Jesse moves on to the next target.
This is exactly what happened to Fox. The kids who will inherit the company are spineless cowards, unlike their Dad who is in decline. The expedient thing was to dump O'Reilly so he was dumped. I'm old enough to remember when part of our population had honor. It is very rare now.
Sorry
But any of the actions sited are enough to say he was stupid and it was enough.
There is a thing called hostile work environment it sounds like one was created at Fox.
Maybe some of it was money making schemes. But there has to be a basis for those cases.
Where is the honor in spending millions on these issues ?
In the public in any group there has been numerous scandals . Look at the business of religion/ministries that have been
plagued by scandal. Probably teh most famous and longest is the REv. Billy Graham. Why has he never been hit with scandal?
Because he stayed true to the cause and did not behave in such a way to invite it !
There is a lesson in that Bill O. failed to learn.
I spent ten years as a training officer at work. Corrections is not the best environment in many ways. I saw the workplace change as we hired females
staff. I witnessed numerous cases of harassment. I spent ten years training on the law and policies as well as other years as a supervisor responsible
for dealing with compliance .
After many concerns with how subject was dealt with I taught it in class not a legal issue, but as an issue of respect amongst peers with legal implications.
I saw many cases of staff not respecting their fellow workers both male and female. The bottomline is no matter what situation or where , if one violates that respect they are putting themselves and their organization at great risk.
There is no honor in that.
O'Reilly and the loofa.
The guy held himself out as a moral arbiter.
"Hannity has been accused ,he came out with both barrels blasting.says he has hired the best legal counsel and is going for his accuser's throats......She is already back pedaling......The best defense is a strong offense...."
Part of O'Reilly's problem is he's an asshole. Most of the production staff really just doesn't like him, but he's brought in really strong numbers for a long time, and Fox News is a business, so they gave him a pass.
It would appear that Bill's reaction to the charges leveled at him indicates there may be some substance to the claims, more than just paying them off as a nuisance.Hannity on the other hand is confident enough that he did no wrong that he will rigorously defend himself.......And interesting contrast.
Yeah I would guess that if Bill were completely innocent, Fox News wouldn't have dumped him like they dumped Ailes.
